About

I’m originally from Warsaw, Poland, and have worked as an anthropologist for over 20 years—an experience that has shaped how I understand people and navigate different contexts. I’ve lived in Berlin for over 20 years, as well as in Sweden, Belgium, and the United States, and I strongly identify with the idea of a unified Europe embodied in the form of the EU. I speak Polish, German, and English fluently, and also understand Swedish, French, and Russian. I appreciate American drive, German precision and candor, and a British sense of humor.

Outside of work, I regularly practice yoga, go to exhibitions, and stay active through hiking, swimming and working out. I often travel to Warsaw to spend time with my family—especially my 10-year-old nephew. I volunteer in an anti-HIV organisation in Berlin.
